Invite Ponyo and his plus one to your next birthday party, anniversary party, or other special private occasion. This will be an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Ponyo Party Includes:

Ponyo + 1 bird of your choice (2 raptors), coloring pages, feather displays and other teaching aids during the presentation.

  • 2 Raptors: Ponyo (American Kestrel) plus one other bird of your choice (hawk, peregrine falcon or eagle owl).

  • Interactive Bird Handling: The person of honor will have the opportunity to hold 1 or both birds of prey on the glove for a great photo opportunity!! Up to 12 Guests will have the opportunity to hold Ponyo and take photos!

  • Educational Presentation: A knowledgeable falconer will provide an engaging talk about each bird, their habitats, hunting techniques, falconry use and conservation.

  • Photographic Opportunities: We love photos! Capture memorable moments with our birds, ensuring your event is remembered long after it’s over. All we ask is to tag us on Instgram #sweethawkparty.

  • Customizable Packages: Tailor your party experience by selecting duration (30 min or 1 hour), and specific birds. You may add additional birds for an even granduer experience!

Presentations are taught by Vicki Gardner is a CA state-licensed general-class falconer. They can be tailored to any age group. Sweethawk Falconry is permitted for education by USFWS and is required to share falconry and conservation education at every event.

PRESENTATION STYLE:
Classroom style: Vicki will engage the entire group in a manner reminiscent of a teacher addressing a classroom. Her approach is well-suited for small to medium-sized private events of 12-25 guests. With a duration of 30 minutes to 1 hour, Vicki will facilitate an interactive experience, ensuring that all guests are involved with Q&A and tactile material effectively. Coloring pages are handed out to all the kids under 12.

OUR POLICIES
Cancellation Policy: We do not offer refunds, but you can reschedule or receive store credit for encounters or presentations. Store credit never expires. This policy also applies if we need to cancel your encounter due to bad weather, disasters, or illness.

Bird Safety policy:   Our birds are wild creatures, not pets. Quietness and a slow approach are necessary for a pleasant experience for both the birds and guests. Safety instructions will be provided during the presentation to ensure everyone's well-being and the comfort of the birds. Respecting their wild nature is essential for fostering a positive interaction. Guests are welcome to take photos, selfies, and videos of the birds during the event.

Travel Fee (round trip to and from your location) is a flat rate calculated based on the city where your venue is located. Below are the following cities we currently service. We are not able to travel to any locations beyond these listed at this time.
